Over a year ago when our son decided he wanted a mullet we didn’t think anything about it. We just said cool and allowed him to express himself with his hair. If he didn’t like it we would just go get it cut again. But to our surprise he loved the way it looked and decided to keep it.

Last summer he found out there is an actual mullet competition and when he read about it he instantly decided he was going to grow out his majestic locks to enter the next years competition! Our son has spent an entire year growing his hair out with minimal cuts so that he can have the longest thickest hair his body can make.

He is so excited to compete, but what his dad and I are most proud of was our boy saw what he wanted, committed to what he wanted, and now is going to move forward and compete for best kids mullet!!! We are beyond proud of his level of commitment and he is ready to showcase his hair for all the nation to see!!
