“School’s Out for Summer 2 – The Flow Awakens”

It started with a glacier and a pandemic. In the lonely alpine silence of Mount Shasta, then–climbing ranger Paul Moore let the back breathe. Clippers were banished. Business up front, quarantine in the back. A mullet was born.

Fast-forward four years and a few thousand math problems later — Mr. Moore, now a 5th-grade teacher with a chalk-stained soul and a mullet full of mischief, returns for Round 2 of the USA Mullet Championships. Last year he finished 5th nationally. This year? He’s gunning for gold.

His mullet, "School’s Out for Summer", isn’t just hair. It’s an educational weapon. It slices through apathy like a hot ruler through butter. When he walks into class, the kids straighten up — not out of fear, but because greatness demands attention. When he turns around to write on the board, the party spills out the back like a rock concert during recess. Test scores rise. Confidence grows. Respect is earned.

Even his sons, Luke and Hank, wear legacy mullets. They’re the Jedi Padawans of flow.

Some teachers use seating charts. Paul uses gravity and velocity — of his hair. One flick, and it’s time for long division. Another? Spelling test. You never know with that kind of power.

So here he is again — sharpened, seasoned, and slightly more wind-resistant — battling for the crown. America, it’s time to vote. Let’s make this teacher’s tale legendary.

Because when "School’s Out", the mullet takes over.

If your mullet could pack its bags and head anywhere, where’s the dream destination?
If my mullet could pack its bags and head anywhere, it’d be on the next bush plane to Alaska, bound for Denali’s summit ridge — wind whipping through its locks at 20,000 feet, leading the charge up the West Buttress like a frosted lightning bolt of freedom. But after that? Straight to New Zealand’s Southern Alps to chill with the spirit of Sir Ed, snag a few style points on Mt. Cook, and maybe film a shampoo commercial with some sheep. Because this mullet doesn’t just travel — it conquers.
What’s your go-to activity when you’re rockin’ the flow?
Camping
What era was your mullet truly born for?
80s
If your mullet had a theme song, what artist & song describes your vibe?
It’s gotta be “School’s Out” by Alice Cooper — pure rebellious energy with a killer riff that screams freedom, just like my mullet’s vibe. It’s the soundtrack to every “business in the front, party in the back” moment — whether I’m running a classroom or owning the national mullet stage. Rock on.
