Meet Mason, your reigning Teen Mullet Champ, back with a mission, not just a mullet.
Last year, he came in as The West Coast Wave. This year, he returns as The California Comeback: New Year, Same Curls. Ready to defend his crown and quietly, but confidently, make his mark.
Mason isn’t your typical spotlight-seeker. He’s a shy kid with a big heart who once shaved off his mullet after being bullied for his curls. But he missed it, missed himself and who he was with that mullet. During the pandemic, he made a bold move, he wanted his mullet back. This time, on his own terms.
Now, four years later, that mullet means more than style, it’s his quiet way of saying, “I’m proud of who I am.” Take it or leave it.
From riding dirt bikes, wrestling, hunting, and playing ball, Mason lives big and loves bigger. He’s gotten shout-outs from the Savannah Bananas, San Francisco Giants, Oakland ballers, Theo Von, and Jared Allen himself, but he’s not in it for fame.
After winning last year, Mason used part of his prize money to help local kids have Christmas presents under the tree. He also dreams of donating his hair to Wigs for Kids, after one final run and hopefully a WIN.
So vote for The California Comeback: New Year, Same Curls. Because this isn’t just about winning again, it’s about showing up, giving back, and proving that sometimes the quietest kids have the loudest impact.
USA Mullet Champ proudly supports JAH4WW once again this year!
100% of the donations made during the 2025 competition will directly benefit JAH4WW, allowing them to continue their mission to “Serve Those Who Serve Us”.
