The Mullet Story of C4: Sisquoc’s Mane Event
In the heart of tiny Sisquoc, California, a one-school, one-firehouse kind of town with no sidewalks and fewer than 100 people, there lives a 5-year-old boy with a mullet that refuses to be ignored.
His name is Carl Edward Betty IV, but around here, everyone calls him C4, because just like his name, his personality, and his hair… he explodes onto the scene.
C4’s mullet journey began as a family compromise: cut the top to keep the hair out of his eyes, but leave the back to flow free. And once that first snip sealed the shape, he never looked back. Inspired by his favorite pro wrestler, Jey Uso, C4 wears his bright blonde mullet like a cape, halfway down his back, sun-kissed, and untamed, catching wind as he runs through the dusty backroads of Sisquoc.
He’s not just cute, he’s committed. Whether it’s wrestling moves on the trampoline or finishing a Lego set three years above his age group, C4 has the grit of a ranch hand and the charm of a cartoon hero. He's goofy, kind, and wildly determined, a kid who knows what he wants and rocks it with pride.
People stop to admire his hair wherever he goes, gas stations, grocery stores, even farmers’ markets two towns over. But to C4, it’s not just hair. It’s a part of who he is. It's confidence. It's coolness. It's Carl. He is here to put Sispuoc on the map.
