When your mom’s a hairstylist, sometimes you end up with the most legendary haircut without even knowing it. I’m only four years old, but my mullet is already turning heads everywhere I go. When I was 2 years old, I was in a parade with my mom‘s Dodge Challenger club on the Fourth of July and everyone kept saying "Look at the baby with the mullet!" I loved the attention and making people smile made me smile too.
People—especially teenagers—started pointing, smiling, and giving me compliments everywhere. They say it’s trendy, bold, and totally awesome. That’s when I knew this wasn’t just a iconic haircut, it was a lifestyle. I like to look like my hansom dad with a clean cut on the top like his Army days. The back of my hair has only ever been trimmed—never cut short—because that’s the mullet way.
I wore it proudly to the local PBR event, where I ended up winning Best Mullet. My mullet’s name is Eagle Wing, because according to the rodeo clown, when a four-year-old gets a mullet, an eagle gets its wings. That pretty much sealed the deal. Let’s just say, Eagle Wing soared that day!
This isn’t just a haircut; it’s a movement. It’s business in the front, party in the back, and all heart underneath. Whether I’m at daycare, the rodeo, or just hanging out with my family, Eagle Wing makes an impression. I may be young, but my mullet has already lived more adventures than most.
