I like changing my hair—a lot.

First, I had a hard part, sharp and clean, like I meant business. Then I leveled up to a mohawk—tall, bold, and totally wild. But after a while, I wanted something different. Something with more curls.

That’s when my Aunt LoLo said, “You know what you need? A mullet.”

So I said, “Let’s do it.”

I grew that mullet for almost a whole year. The front stayed neat, the back flowed like a waterfall. People called it “party in the back,” but to me, it was just me.

Then—we moved.

At the new place, the hair people didn’t know me yet. They didn’t know my mullet was special. They didn’t even ask. And just like that—snip—my curls were gone.

I was shocked. I almost cried. But then I looked in the mirror and said, “It’s okay. I’ll grow it back.”

And I did.

Now it’s getting longer again, and guess what? The curls are back!

Not just any curls—comeback curls. The kind that say, “You can’t cut off style. It grows stronger.”
