Once upon a time on the windswept plains of Hereford, South Dakota a six-year-old boy named Finn had a head full of wild, unruly hair with a personality to match.

A sixth generation cattle man living and competing with his three brothers just down a dusty trail from where his great great grandfather William homesteaded in a sod house Finn Hannan was no ordinary cowboy and no normal haircut would do.

With naturally curly blonde locks Finn didn’t want to cut his hair short but he didn’t want to be called a girl either so they settled on a haircut that captured his individualism and recalled the tough yet wild and free range lifestyle of Western South Dakota.

And thus born from Finn’s legendary grit and the steady hand of his barber wielding a well oiled clipper came “The Mullet Dakotan” Sioux Falls up front, Rapids in the back.
