5 years ago I was making a joke pretending to buzz the side of my head. While doing so I accidentally turned the buzzer on. I had a decision to make admit defeat or pull through and own it so I did the second thing and buzzed the other side. It was then that a baby mullet was born. I rocked the baby mullet for a few months and then after looking at some of the mullet legends from the past decided, “alright if I’m gonna do this I’m gonna do it right”. That day I killed the baby mullet and set my year long plan in motion. So after a year long hiatus from the mullet, granted I never cut my hair after the baby mullet murder so I just let it grow until it was time. Once that day arose and I decided it was time I buzzed off the sides in my bathroom at home and have had it ever since. I have had to trim and maintain the sides and back as I do have to work but it works for the world of spearfishing so it’s just as magnificent as the first day and a bit longer. So that’s my story.
